2023 New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks

Embrace a laid-back New Year celebration at Snowbird in the Utah mountains this Sunday, December 31st. If you’re headed to the resort to ski, stay until 7 p.m. for its 2023 New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks on the Plaza Deck.
The Torchlight Parade and Fireworks kick off at 6 p.m. and wrap up by 6:30 p.m. Afterwards, you and your loved ones can warm up by the fire pits and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa until 7 p.m. This short but sweet celebration allows you to enjoy the snowy festivities and welcomes the New Year without staying up late.
14th Annual New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball

The 14th Annual SLC-NYE Masquerade Ball presents a night of mystery and elegance. Dress your best, throw on a mask, and immerse yourself in the captivating world of a masquerade ball. The venue, courtesy of the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek, is set to transport you to a classy bygone era with simple yet stunning decorations.
This event features live entertainment, cash bars, a sumptuous three-course dinner, complimentary party favors, and lots of champagne. Tickets are $150 per person which includes a 3-course dinner, NYE party favors, and discount parking while the “Reception Only” Tickets are also available at $60 or $70 and only include party favors.
Saturnalia: A New Years Celebration

The biggest dance extravaganza in the city, Saturnalia: A New Year’s Celebration, is a two-night event at The Complex happening on Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 30-31). Presented by Mutiny Music Collective, the energy at this event will be off the charts as they countdown to the much-anticipated NYE.
The lineup is packed with top-notch artists who will rock the Pantheon Stage in Rockwell and Colosseum 360 in The Grand. You can expect performances from ATLiens, Kompany, Jkyl & Hyde, KOAN Sound, MARAUDA, Justin Jay, and so much more.
Doors open at 7 p.m. each night and there are three ticket options: one for Saturday, one for Sunday, or a pass for both nights. The ticket price is $69.99 for a single night and $119.99 for a 2-nights. Don’t forget that this is an 18+ event and tickets are non-refundable so make sure that you pick the right ticket type.
Ball Drop 2024
9575 State St, Sandy, UT 84070
Ball Drop 2024 at the Mountain America Exposition Center is the largest midnight bash in Utah. This unique experience will include confetti with a ball drop and a laser show, non-stop festivities, and electrifying music.
As the clock strikes midnight, join thousands of voices in saying goodbye to 2023 and hello to a new year. This public event features a massive festival stage, a 21+ area, 5 DJs, and a celebrity guest. Food and concessions are available all night and there’s also free water, energy drinks, and parking.
On top of the mentioned amenities, the GA ticket costs $25 which includes access to the dance floor area and free photo booth. Meanwhile, the VIP ticket costs $50 and you can enjoy VIP “skip the line” access, exclusive access to the VIP area, VIP stage, and all other GA inclusions. This event is for 18+ only and an ID check is required at the door.
Last Hurrah 2023!

The largest free party in downtown Salt Lake City, Last Hurray 2023!, will be held in the Gateway area. This awaited event will be open to the public on New Year’s Eve, from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Immerse yourself in the celebratory spirit with live music on an outdoor stage, buskers, and pop-up bars offering a variety of beverages including draft beer, wine, cocktails, and hot chocolate. Gateway merchants will also keep the party going with extended hours.

New Year’s Eve Party “The White Ball”

The New Year’s Eve Party “The White Ball” at Eventos Reception Center is an elegant event. Rated as one of the best parties of the year, this celebration promises an unforgettable night of style, dazzling decor, delectable dinner, and great tunes.
Embrace a semi-formal vibe and you are encouraged to wear white to add a touch of class to the occasion. Your ticket covers a buffet from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., along with dessert and drinks. You can also bring your own drinks and each table comes with complimentary glassware, a bottle opener, and an ice bucket.
This is an adult-only, 21+ event. Tickets are $90 for an individual seat and $800 for a table of 10 seats.
Loveland Living Planet Aquarium’s Noon Year’s Eve

Gather the family and jumpstart the New Year festivities a tad early. Join The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium at welcoming 2024 with their Noon Year’s Eve celebration.
Tailored for families and young ones, the Aquarium will be hosting 2 special bashes at noon and 3 p.m. on December 31st in the Aquarium’s lobby. While their nocturnal animals can easily celebrate at midnight, they understand that it might be a little hard and late for the little ones. So, why wait and just ring in the upcoming year together at their family-friendly hour?
