Salt Lake County has grown significantly in the past few years as many seek to enjoy our stunning natural resources and high quality of living. Unfortunately, not everyone here has the same opportunities to take advantage of all Salt Lake has to offer.
Individuals and families living in poverty rely on neighbors like you to keep them housed, fed, and medically cared for as they seek ways to improve their circumstances. From babies to senior citizens, the many charitable organizations in Salt Lake serve people of all backgrounds thanks to donations from fellow community members like you.
Canines with a Cause
The only thing better than a dog is a dog at work. Canines with a Cause is an organization that pairs military veterans and rescue dogs together to help them both achieve health and happiness. Canines with a Cause accomplishes its mission by first having individuals who are in prison pre-train the rescue dogs to prepare them for their new veteran owners. Once the dog is qualified, the organization then trains the veterans on how to train their service dog to meet their needs. Thanks to donations like yours, Canines with a Cause is able to offer service dogs to veterans free of charge.
